Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great holiday. Julia is doing more things every day - she is sitting really well by herself, eating her cereal like a champ, and is starting to reach for just about everything Mom and Dad have in their hands!

Julia saw her first snow this week, enjoyed lounging in her sweet new holiday jammies that fairy godmother Stacy got us, and made her first hat at daycare - the jury is still out as to exactly what it is, but it is cute nonetheless!

Julia - November update

Julia has had a busy November - We spent some time playing with Cousin Mallory (she showed Julia how to play in the exersaucer!) and our friend Leila Klem!

We also enjoyed wearing our new winter coat from G & G Brown and 'Cutie' outfit from Aunt Casey :)

Julia's First Halloween

Julia was a little "Love" bug for Halloween. We had fun trick o' treating at Grandpa R's work, G & G Browns and the Elkhorn Library!

First Trip to the Zoo

Julia went to the Henry Doorly Zoo for the first time on Sunday, Oct 28th. We went with G & G Ringenberg, Scot, Kendy & Mallory! We took lots of fall photos - here's some of the highlights! One wouldn't really be able to tell we were at the zoo based on the pics!

Julia Christine - So Busy!

Julia had a very busy week! It was dad's birthday on Wednesday so we went to dinner - good pic of dad and Jules :)

Her fairy godmother Stacy stopped by, along with godfather Sam. - Julia was in her very hip pumpkin hat - courtesy Grandma Lorraine. So cute!

We spent Saturday in Moville with Great Grandma Bernice and then. . .


on Monday we went to visit Julia's new very good friend - Katelyn Rose Koesters! She was born on Friday, October 19th - her mom's birthday :) Katelyn and Kara are doing well! She is a cutie!

Julia is 4 months old!

Julia has had a busy last few weeks! She had her 4 mo check up and is officially "proportional" according to the charts at 75% across the board for weight (14 lbs 1 oz), height (25 inches) and head size. She had a bad reaction to her shots, running a fever for darn near 24 hours and had a really hard time sleeping - luckily it passed fairly quickly! Julia also got to meet friends Toni and Drew last week, which was exciting - we like it when friends come to visit - she was not influenced by their Iowa State gear - although the Missouri game has her thinking twice about next week's Saturday wardrobe - maybe the Husker cheerleading outfit has bad luck written all over it!

Jules had her first cereal on Sunday and the reaction is a bit mixed so far- if you want to watch the really long video, be our guest - we are just starting to figure it out and somehow we downloaded everything from Julia rolling over at 3 months, to her first cereal feeding at the end of the video! About 32 minutes worth! Whoops. Some of the video is less than stellar so we apologize. She is standing pretty well with help and is loving sitting on our laps -starting to feel independent :) Hope you are all doing well!
