The Zoo & Julia's "C's"

Julia has started singing along with the ABC's songs we (and her Julia CD) sing to her! So fun - so I tried to capture it on video with her solo - no backup CD to help her out and she did really good! Of course my camera lost its battery on X! So you'll have to do without her elongated ZZZZZZ. Also a few pics of our zoo trip last week - beautiful day. We have had such a fun April while Kyle has been on a more laid back rotation!

Mallory's 3rd Birthday!

Mallory had a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party theme this year and wanted to "make cupcakes" so I did a cupcake party for her friends, cousin and Julia. I think a fun time was had by all!

UNMC Easter Egg Hunt & Park Trip

The Friday before Easter we headed to Ralston Park to hunt eggs with our playgroup. A fun time was had by all - what a cool playground - and Julia was really excited to find a "soccer ball" Easter egg, which she promptly tossed - quite well actually- on the ground several times!

Almost Spring. . .

We've had a lot of fun with friends lately! Here is Julia with Kate Koesters at the zoo, and with the Elle and Jaise Peterson and Addie Gragert, giggling with the crazy Chicken that sings!

We have also had a lot of fun with our new General Mills food set that Toni sent Julia! Toni is a plant manager for a General Mills plant that makes Betty Crocker cake mix! Here is a shameless promotion by Julia! So far her favorite is the ice cream and although we keep telling her its not real - she keeps trying it!

Jules is talking more and more. Common phrases now include "I don't want it" - not sure where she got that one - "I'll be right back" - "I need to go potty", etc. We are looking forward to some warm weather so we can explore outside in our new yard and at the park two blocks away!
