The Incident

Okay so this isn't that big of an incident, but since we have the photo evidence to show the sequence of events we thought we should share - it got quite the laughs out of us this evening. Not to mention having it in writing will no doubt be good blackmail 16 years from now :)

Napa!

For my devoted blog checker - Toni - thanks again for hosting us on a great trip out to Northern Cali - and another thanks to Scot, Kendy & Katie for the graduation limo in Napa! A few almost-summer pics of Julia! Stood up solo and took 5 steps this week at 11 months! She is working on her two upper teeth at the moment and is not too pleased with how that is feeling :) We are looking forward to her 1st birthday coming up soon!

Gotta wear shades

Julia was 11 months old on May 6th - First steps on May 2nd (straight to Aunt Katie!) Feeding herself (quite messily) with a spoon on April 30th. And. . . Loving the sunglasses and mom's cell phone for walks to the park!

Dr. Kyle!

Julia is super proud of her dad. Kyle graduated on May 2nd (little behind on the photos!) More to come soon!

10 1/2 months!

Got some good ones this post. The picture of Julia in the pink and red striped shirt is the best shot we've got of her two little "teethers" coming in. Look closely! First noticed them two weeks ago and they still aren't showing too much! Hoping we can attribute some of our recent midnight wakings to those two culprits :) (Note pic of Julia sleeping on Kyle (Kyle was sleeping too after a rough night!)) Looking forward to this week's graduation festivities - hope to see lots of you there on Friday. Next post Daddy will be a doctor!

April Fun

Pictures from Cousin Mallory's 2nd birthday party, and a shot of Julia climbing the stairs like a pro - all the way up 14 at our house! Today she also made her first sign - eat! She is a growing girl! Looking forward to the graduation festivities coming up in two weeks. We are also excited for the arrival of Cousin #2 - Scot and Kendy are expecting and due May 20th! Hope everyone is doing well!

Cruisin like crazy

Pics of Julia cruisin with her walker - she is walking while holding onto just about anything now, climbing stairs (made it up all 3 of G&G R's steps last weekend!) and is pretty much getting into everything. Fun, but scary too! Anything is fair game and if it is dangerous or icky (Bailey's toys), Julia makes a beeline straight for it! Pics of her first experience with grass (albeit still semi-dead). This was her first time sitting on it and she wasn't sure what quite to make of the odd texture!
