Spring Fun - more Match Day & Easter

Oh the fun we had! Match Day went well - more on that later! We will be in Omaha for another 4 years! Julia had a great Easter - got to see both sets grandparents, the great grandparents, cousin Mallory, and had an easter egg hunt to boot! It was a great day - a whopping 30 degrees, but fun nonetheless! In the last week she has said "Up Mama" with her arms up in the air (can't yet repeat that feat, but it is going in the baby book!) and is waving to Bailey! Hope you all had a great Easter - Happy Spring!

9 months old!

Julia is now 9 months old - she is officially crawling forwards - not backwards! We have had two "Shrimp" swim classes and she is definitely enjoying playing in the pool with mom and dad (although she did not like sitting on the edge of the pool - note picture below :)). And mom had a lot of fun picking out Julia's first swimsuit (love the pink tutu!) Its been fun - now if we only could get to and from the door to the gym without worrying about the cold weather! We also got a good picture of her "Sooo Big" that we added this week.

Fun times with Julia

Julia is doing more and more big girl things each day. In the last few weeks she has started taking really good walking steps with some help, drinking on her own from a sippie cup, and feeding herself! She now looks specifically for "Daddy", "Bailey" and "Mommy"! Mommy is wondering why Julia is better at recognizing the dog - but that's another discussion! The video is a little playtime with Bailey. Julia has a new infatuation with our dog, watching her run everywhere and being pretty good about being nice to poor Bailey - whose tormentor has only begun! Bailey has been a very patient dog though!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Julia had a great Valentine's day - hope you all did as well! She almost let Mom and Dad finish their crabcakes :) She had a great afternoon with Grandma Lorraine (check out the cute new hat! Grandma is super talented!) She is starting to crawl backwards which is exciting and has been doing "How big is Julia? So . . Big!" With her arms up and everything! So far we've only gotten one picture of it and she was so sick with an ear infection, well, lets just say its not her best look :) poor thing - first antibiotic for her but she is feeling much better so that is a good thing.

8 months old!

Julia will be 8 months old on February 6th. She is eating like a champ, everything from yogurt to mashed up pasta and chicken, lasagna, etc. She loves it all! She is scooting on her bottom and getting really close to crawling! Things will be getting a little more interesting around our house once she decides to take off :) Talking and chatter is a constant with Jules, which is great, we love to listen to what she has to say.
