Holidays 2010 - Christmas Day

Holidays 2010 - Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was extra special this year as we were asked to be the Holy Family for the 3 pm service at Bethany. Jade was a great baby and all the kids came up to see her for the Childens message, including Julia who did great! Definitely memorable and a fun memory to share with Jade as she gets older.

We had soup at our house following and enjoyed watching Julia spread reindeer food and open gifts from Ken and Mary Lou (she is still sleeping on the sleeping bag on the weekends :)

Holidays 2010 - Part Two

The holiday sprint ran a bit long this year - starting with Julia's Christmas program on Dec 11th and ending with the Ringenberg Christmas on Jan 1st. It was a ton of fun and quite exhausting! Here's a recap of the couple weeks leading up to Christmas - Julia's school program "Bato Senco" is Portguese "Jingle Bells."

We also went with the other Ringenbergs to Santa's Breakfast in Elkhorn. Kids had fun sitting on Santa's lap and also sending letters to Santa!

Holidays 2010 - Part one

Thanksgiving brought some exciting news! Kyle's sister Katie is engaged and getting married July 9th here in Omaha. Very fun! We are looking forward to being involved in the planning and fun coming up - Julia is particularly excited to be a flower girl - as noted by the beaming smile in this photo!

Elf on the Shelf, aka Lincoln in our family, arrived the day after Thanksgiving and was a fun twist to the Holidays. Julia loved checking every morning to see where he "landed" after he got back from the North Pole! He also "managed" the advent calendar items so she thinks he is pretty cool.
